Advanced DrivingMini School of Motoring offers advanced driving lessons for recently qualified drivers with the official DSA Pass Plus Scheme. This course has been designed to further reduce the risks for pupils of having an accident. Unfortunately newly qualified drivers are far more vulnerable than most of them realise. Statistics show that new drivers are far more likely to have an accident within their first two years of driving than any other time in their driving career. Unfortunate Facts: In their first year of driving one driver in five is involved in a crash. However it’s not just about age – newly qualified drivers are a higher than average risk whatever their age. Most drivers become safer by driving more miles and by experiencing a wider variety of driving situations. However Mini School of Motoring believe it is not enough just to let newly qualified drivers learn by experience. Preparing for your testWe will help you prepare for both parts of your driving test, both theory and the practical. Your driving lessons will be planned to help you gain a full understanding of the highway code as well as helping you identify the potential dangers on the roads and how best to deal with them. As part of your driving lessons we make several test centre vists before your own test. This lets you see what an actual test will be like and helps reduce any test day nerves. You will watch a typical test go and return from the test centre and fully appreciate what is expected from the examiner. While we are working with you towards your test you will experience mock tests and be provided with an individual test plan that helps any private practice which you may do with a friend or relative. Your driving lessons also covers a section on how to help you keep a car roadworthy and recognise faults before they develop into problems. Working together gives better results Mini School of Motoring also uses Mock Tests and target test dates to help plan for your success while keeping driving lesson costs to a minimum.
